Get the look: We were in search of a similar cut for our frizzy, undefined waves, and took notes as Wes Sharpton of Hairstory Studio in New York City somehow managed to shape an entire new head of hair with just a few snips of his scissors. The trick, he said, is to get rid of any extra weight that might be weighing your locks down, and shear in shorter layers of varying lengths—otherwise, you get that weird, bob-over-longer-hair look.
