Fashion never sleeps, and neither does Lili Reinhart. After a full day shooting Riverdale Season 2, the breakout actress hopped on a redeye from Vancouver to New York to experience her first ever Fashion Week with ELLE.com, in September. Watch her run around the city with our editors while chatting about all things Betty Cooper in between shows and then check out her personal photo diary from the day, below.
11:30 AM – Picking out jewelry for my multiple wardrobe changes. Earrings and rings are my go-to accessories.
1:00 PM Show One: Simon Miller Presentation – I had to stop to admire this show-goer’s amazing pants.
This Simon Miller clutch, designed to look like a paper bag, is not only trippy, but also super cute and fun.
2:00 PM Show Two: Tibi – All smiles at my first show, Tibi, with ELLE Fashion Features Director Nikki Ogunnaike.
Feeling a bit like a fish out of water surrounded by all these knowledgeable fashionistas.
3:00 PM Show Three: Dion Lee – Captured a beautiful turquoise look at the Dion Lee show.
My main takeaway from the Dion Lee show was how beautifully the clothes moved when the models walked. The silk skirts, especially. Everything flowed in a way that made the models look ethereal as they walked down the runway.
4:15 PM Show Four: Christian Siriano – Christian Siriano’s show was a fantastic display of bold colors—this dress in particular was a gorgeous complement to the model’s skin tone.
Big, poofy skirts give me major princess vibes. Dreaming of the day when I can wear a Cinderella-esque ball gown.
Siriano gown that looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale.
Siriano’s use of plus-sized models made his show a major standout for me. It’s so inspiring to see models of all shapes and sizes walking down the same runway.
6:00 PM Hotel, Sweet Hotel – My Siriano gown seemed to match my hotel room.
After a redeye from Vancouver to New York, waking up early for glam, an exciting day of immersing myself in the Fashion Week world, and changing outfits in the car, I was ready to order in some Chipotle and pass out.
Snuggled in bed by 8 PM.
