On March 27, Dua Lipa released her anticipated sophomore album, "Future Nostalgia." The date was exactly a month ago from today, and nearly four months into a global pandemic that would change the world, forever. While her peers opted to postpone major releases—hopeful that COVID-19 and its ramifications would soon subside—Lipa, and her team forged ahead. And, with a warm reception: the album, so far, has peaked at number four on the Billboard 200, and she's announced a January 2021 tour that will, undoubtedly, be one of the hottest tickets in town. But how is Lipa holding up in the midst of it all?

For our new series with editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, Lipa joined ELLE via Zoom from her London Airbnb, and talked quarantine cooking, what it was like to release "Future Nostalgia" during what's been deemed a "strange" time, and how she's connecting with fans in an unprecedented way.
