Up until the 2025 Golden Globes, Selena Gomez and her new fiancé, Benny Blanco, had never posed on a red carpet together. That didn’t change at the ceremony...for the most part. They posed away from the main photographers but technically on the red carpet while entering the show:

Blanco was with Gomez inside the awards show though, where they had plenty of affectionate moments during the broadcast. They even kissed at multiple points. Many photos were taken of them:

Gomez announced her and Blanco’s engagement last month. In November, she told The Hollywood Reporter that there are two good reasons she posts a lot of photos with him on Instagram.

One is comfort: As she put it, “I guess this is the safest I’ve ever felt in one [a relationship], and I see a future with this person.”

And the second reason is to give them more privacy. “When you put a little bit out there, people are not as hungry to hunt you down,” she said. “Like, if they hear something, they’re going to, but if you’re like, ‘I did it,’ they’re like, ‘Oh, well there’s you, just going to Sushi Park.’ But there’s so much of my relationship people don’t see, that’s just mine.”

Gomez spoke to ELLE for our Women in Hollywood issue about how much she cherishes this stage in her career. “Being in this moment with these women [Emilia Pérez co-stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón talking] about a movie that’s so important and moving and beautiful, it’s been a wow moment for me,” she said. “I definitely didn’t expect all of what’s happening. It just feels like a time in my life that I’m extremely grateful for. Honestly, every day I wake up thinking, How did I get to do this?”
