While many of the major music companies canceled their Grammys after-parties to support L.A. wildfire relief instead, there were still some low-key festivities around town. Taylor Swift attended one of them and made an outfit change.
The singer switched from the Kansas City Chiefs-red Vivienne Westwood minidress she wore throughout the ceremony into a sparkly silver tweed Gucci minidress. The ensemble was sleeveless, with little bows adorning the straps.
Kellindo Parker, Janelle Monáe’s lead guitarist, shared selfies with Swift at the party and revealed her look.
He wrote, “It was a magical Grammy experience 🎸 @taylorswift @janellemonae @jamareoartis @philipmlawrence @kaylamarie.j Thank you @fender @voxamplification @rayban @seymourduncanpickups @optimastrings @centerstaging for helping to make this night magical!”
This is what the full dress looks like on Gucci’s site. It’s unfortunately sold out:
Swift’s appearance at the Grammys marked her first major red carpet event of the new year. She will be out again soon, as Jason Kelce confirmed the singer will attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans this Sunday. Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs will be playing against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” Jason told People. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends. I mean, Trav always travels like, full.”
Travis was unable to attend the Grammys with Swift as he arrived in New Orleans that day. (He did wear an Easter egg for Swift, though.) During a Super Bowl press conference this week, he spoke about whether he and Swift manifested the Chiefs making it to the Super Bowl for the third year in a row. He also touched on how he felt missing some of Swift’s own big moments during playoff season.
“I think we both love to manifest things for sure, and you can’t say it’s not real because we’re here, right?” he said. “So whatever she was doing, I’m sure it helped [get us here]. And it definitely—for me to not be there supporting her during those weeks, it definitely helped.”
