Millie Bobby Brown has been busy. Since fans last saw her on an awards show red carpet, she’s turned 21; led multiple Netflix films; and married John Bongiovi, son of iconic singer Jon Bon Jovi, during a private ceremony in May 2024. Tonight, she made her return to the carpet wearing a custom pale-pink Louis Vuitton gown, paired with Chopard diamond earrings, her wedding ring, and a blonde updo. Brown initially posed without her husband but was later photographed strolling through the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall with him by her side. This evening, she will take the SAG Awards stage as a presenter.
Brown and Bongiovi currently live together on a farm in rural Georgia. The Stranger Things star, who was 20 when she wed Bongiovi in May, has repeatedly addressed why she felt comfortable marrying at what many consider a young age. In an interview with Vanity Fair this month, she said, “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”
She continued, “Loving someone and being in love are two different things. I think I loved a lot of people I was with, like I loved my friends. But [Bongiovi] is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with. If we’re not fully invested, then what’s the point? We have to be, and we always have been.”
