After Kim Kardashian warmed up for Oscar night at Chanel’s pre-Oscar dinner on Saturday, she’s out again tonight at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. The star posed solo on the red carpete, looking bridal in a custom Balenciaga ball gown. She wore her hair in a slicked-back bun.
This is a special year for the Kardashian-Jenner family at the Oscars. Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role. A source told People last month that the family “loves him.”
Jenner herself “enjoys attending the events with him. She knows that his career is so important to him. She wants to be by his side for it all.” The source added, “Kylie is the happiest. They are very serious.”
Kardashian, meanwhile, has kept her love life much more private. She did recently open up on The World’s First Podcast about what she is and isn’t looking for in a romantic partner.
“My absolute red flag is just when someone doesn’t treat other people, even when no one’s watching with respect and no matter what they are, who they do, what they do, you know, who they are,” Kardashian said. “I just, I have some, but it’s, I don’t know. I mean, then, you know, you have to have chemistry and you have to vibe and you have to, I have a big life. I like a big life, you know.”
She added: “They’re going to have to understand my kids. And their background and where they came from. It must not be easy coming into my life. They have to be a very secure person.”
