On Saturday night, Blackpink’s Jennie Kim received the Global Force Award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music ceremony. For the big event, the K-Pop star stunned in a burgundy bustier midi dress from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2025 Ready-To-Wear Collection. The strapless gown featured a plunging neckline, which was lined with crystals that then went all the way down to the hem of the skirt.
Kim wore the look with a pair of black stiletto heels with an ankle strap and accessorized with Uniform Object’s Carriage Ruby Necklace and several gold rings on her hands. She had her hair down and wore peachy eye shadow and a red lip to match her ensemble.
In a red carpet interview with Billboard, Kim shared her excitement about the night saying, “First of all, it’s such a big honor to come to Women in Music and to be honored as a Global Force, it’s so special, I’m so excited. I’m gonna try to enjoy the day and surround myself with amazing women.”
The star was then asked about her popular “Dance Like Jennie” trend on TikTok stemming from music off her 2025 album Ruby. The dance has been recreated by a number of her followers as well as some of her fellow K-Pop stars.
She answered, “I have [seen it] and I was so shocked, but I’m so thankful for everyone joining on, I’m so thankful.”
Kim then spoked more specifically about the other members of Blackpink, commenting on the fact that the girl band has continued to have success as members take on solo projects.
“We talk about this all the time too, I think it’s amazing how we are all doing our own thing, yet we have each other’s backs no matter what,” she explained, adding, “I miss them.”
