When we first met private investigator Veronica Mars, she was a teenager, fending off the wolves of high school. It’s already been four years since the show’s fourth season which brought us back to Neptune, California. Let’s take a look at how much the Veronica Mars cast grew through the years of the show––and what their actors have been up to since.
Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell)

She's come a long way from Neptune High. After solving the murder of her best friend Lilly Kane in season 1, we saw Veronica go off to college. But she returned to Neptune and Mars Investigations, and in season 4, that beach town proved it still had plenty of secrets.
Kristen Bell IRL

Veronica Mars was an early breakout role for Bell, and she has continued to make a great name for herself as a comedic actress with recent shows like The Good Place and films like Queenpins. She also has some impressive voice acting chops, with credits like the Frozen movies and the Apple TV+ animated musical comedy Central Park.
Keith Mars (Enrico Colantoni)

Keith Mars is one of the best TV dads of all time. Once the sheriff of Neptune, he kept the lights on as a PI who taught his daughter everything he knows—and learned some from her too.
Enrico Colantoni IRL

Colantoni is a TV veteran, not slowing down between Veronica Mars seasons or since it fully ended. He plays a lot of cops, but got to dip his toes into the part of a crime boss in Person of Interest. More recently, Colantoni has had recurring parts on big shows like Station Eleven and Westworld.
Eli "Weevil" Navarro (Francis Capra)

PCH leader Weevil's criminal activities and bullying tactics have always put him and Veronica at odds. Still, they've grown to understand each other better over the years, and they even go out on a limb for each other when it counts the most.
Francis Capra IRL

Capra got his start acting at the age of 9 when he played a young Calogero in A Bronx Tale 1993. Capra has been working behind the camera with writing projects and his production company Take Off Productions, and acted in an independent crime film Shadows in 2022. He also had a guest role in iZombie, which was promoted to recurring in its final season.
Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring)

From bad—no, terrible—boy to beloved half of the LoVe couple, Logan is so different now that we can barely recognize him. Except that he's still hot.
Jason Dohring IRL

Along with a few of his Veronica Mars co-stars, Dohring had a recurring part on a couple of seasons of iZombie, and also recently played a cunning Lieutenant on the CBS Procedural series Seal Team. He also has been working as a voice actor, playing the role of Terra for five games in the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Leo D'Amato (Max Greenfield)

Sweet Leo! The former Deputy Sheriff of Neptune got involved in some shady antics at the beginning of his career, which hasn't prevented him landing a spot in the FBI in season 4.
Max Greenfield IRL

Greenfield has been all over TV since his Veronica Mars stints, whether you know him from New Girl or his current sitcom The Neighborhood on CBS, which co-stars Cedric the Entertainer. He has also pushed himself out of his purely comedic comfort zone with parts in American Horror Story: Hotel, Promising Young Woman, and the anthology series American Horror Stories.
Wallace Fennel (Percy Daggs III)

She may have saved him from being duct-taped to a flagpole, but with all her dangerous exploits, Veronica always needed a BFF to back her up. In season 4, we get to meet his family and see where he's ended up—and guess what? It's back at high school (as a coach, though).
Percy Daggs III IRL

Daggs has worked on shows like Undone and, surprise, iZombie, and it seems like his son, Percy Daggs IV is joining the industry too. This premiere photo isn’t for the father’s role, but actually the younger Daggs for the Apple TV+ drama The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey.
Dick Casablancas (Ryan Hansen)

Not that he's perfect, but it's a mystery how Dick Casablancas didn't end up a worse human. In high school, he's a bully who doesn't mind spiking his own girlfriend's drink. He hasn't exactly found the light as an adult, but he's certainly found "being a D-list actor."
Ryan Hansen IRL

With Martin Starr at the Party Down revival premiere, Hansen is currently reprising his part as Kyle Bradway in this beloved cult-classic Starz sitcom finally getting new seasons. He also hosted a short-lived YouTube Red series called Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television.
Richard "Big Dick" Casablancas (David Starzyk)

Dick Casablancas makes so much more sense when you meet his dad. In season 2, Veronica figures out that his real-estate business might not be as legit as it seems on the outside. And in the show's new episodes, he's up to no good again.
David Starzyk IRL

He may have played a scumbag on Veronica Mars, but he’s by all accounts a sweetie in the real world. You could know Starzyk from any number of shows that he’s cropped up on, but some most recent appearances include bit parts on The Affair and Grimm.
Max (Adam Rose)

We first meet Max when he asks Veronica for some help with a lady friend. He pops back into the picture when his weed dispensary feels the burn from the ordinances being championed by Big Dick.
Adam Rose IRL

Rose has had a healthy career as a character actor with funny bit parts in recent shows like Carol’s Second Act, L.A.’s Finest, and Santa Clarita Diet.
Liam Fitzpatrick (Rodney Rowland)

Once a terrifying crime boss, always a terrifying crime boss. Liam Fitzpatrick hasn't lost any of his "trespassers beware" style, which Veronica first learned about back in season 2.
Rodney Rowland IRL

Rowland has prioritized raising his family in recent years, but still continues to act mostly for TV. He appeared in one episode of the acclaimed revival season of Twin Peaks in 2017, and worked more recently on shows like MacGuyver and The Walking Dead.
