On Friday, BLACKPINK’s Lisa performed her first solo Coachella set on the Sahara stage to a wildly enthusiastic audience. Not only did her fans show up for the iconic performance, so did her friends. The star’s bandmates Rosé and Jisoo were spotted enjoying the show, as well as her co-stars from season 3 of The White Lotus, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Tayme Thapthimthong. Schwarzenegger was even seen excitedly waving his Lisa light stick, while Rosé held a bouquet of yellow roses under one arm.
Lisa called out her HBO show character Mook during her set, joking, “For The White Lotus fans, you might be surprised to see Mook onstage. This is her when she’s not working.”
The set reportedly opened with her song “Thunder,” with the star arriving on stage in a futuristic metallic bodysuit covered in reptilian spikes, custom-designed by Asher Levine. She went on to perform more songs from her debut album Alter Ego, including “FXCK Up the World,” “LALISA,” “New Woman,” “When I’m With You,” “Dream,” “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” “Chill,” “Elastigirl,” “MONEY,” “Born Again,” “Lifestyle,” and concluded with “ROCKSTAR.”
BLACKPINK’s members have been releasing their solo projects this past year, though in a recent interview with ELLE, Lisa assured fans that they intended to still work together.
“Of course we’re continuing, for sure,” Lisa said. “We’re so proud of BLACKPINK, and I love BLACKPINK. It is not just because of our fans, it’s for ourselves.”
She also talked about her role on White Lotus and getting more into acting.
“It’s pretty new to me, but I think it’s similar to shooting music videos,” she explained. “I’m excited for my fans to see it. I feel like people are going to fall in love with Thailand even more.”
