Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet, will make their Academy Awards season debut this weekend—if Jenner has it her way, that is.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the star would love to be there with her boyfriend of nearly two years. “Kylie and Timothée are very in love, and their relationship is serious,” the source prefaced. “Kylie is very proud of Timothée and has been happy to support him throughout this awards season. She’s hoping to attend the Oscars with Timothée. She admires how talented and hardworking he is.”
Jenner has attended the Golden Globes and the BAFTAs with Chalamet so far. She was last seen with him at Cartier’s poker night to celebrate his Oscar nomination.
Entertainment Tonight’s insider noted that Jenner has had a tough week, as the star is grieving the death of her longtime friend and hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero. His sister revealed he died unexpectedly last weekend.
“She is extremely distraught and heartbroken by Jesus’s passing and wants to do whatever she can to help,” the source said. “She is in touch with his family and wants to be there for them in any way she can.”
Earlier this week, Jenner shared a tribute to Guerrero on Instagram. She wrote:
Jesus was more than my friend - he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.
