Severance is back for its long-awaited second season on Apple TV+. Created by Dan Erickson and directed in part by Ben Stiller, the sci-fi thriller about corporate dystopia has captured viewers’ imaginations since its debut in 2022. Season 2 is expected to dive deeper into the mysteries of Lumon Industries and the nature of severance—an invasive procedure that splits one’s work and personal memories—while exploring the emotional and ethical consequences for its employees. Series stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, and John Turturro are all back for the new season, and they’ll be joined by a roster of new talent including Alia Shawkat, Merritt Wever, Gwendoline Christie, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Stefano Carannante, John Noble, and Bob Balaban.
Prepare to step back into the office, where the fluorescent lights are harsh and the truths are harsher. The second season kicked off on Friday, January 17, and episodes debuted weekly through March 21.
