Needless to say, the bob has well and truly taken over. And in yet further proof that everybody’s favourite hairstyle isn’t going anywhere this autumn, now even Beyoncé has jumped on the bob bandwagon.

The singer has been sporting extra-long hair as part of her Renaissance album, the much-anticipated seventh studio album, for some time now, but much like the rest of the world (namely Kendall Jenner, Julia Roberts and Lada Gaga) she decided it was time to sideline her now signature hip-grazing waves in favour of the short crop of the moment.
The hairstyle in question, an 'Old Parisian' bob - think Hollywood-esque volume with a chic Parisian twist - comes together with a major side parting and soft waves. This elegant 'do speaks to a growing trend which took over during both London and Paris Fashion Week which saw the return to glamour, complete with velcro rollers, blow-dried ends and emphasis on volume at the root, seen everywhere from 16Arlington to Ottelinger.
Earlier in the week, Beyoncé made a case for another trending short crop: the blunt bob, which she styled with flicked-in ends and a poker-straight finish.
Ever the hairstyle chameleon, Beyoncé's new bob isn't the only newsworthy moment. Just hours ago, Levi's teased that the global icon is their next muse for a fashion collaboration. In a new video, which sees Beyoncé complete with a cowboy hat at a launderette, the singer is dressed head-to-toe in denim with Fawcett-inspired layers and an even icier blonde 'do. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
