Despite its long-standing dress code for challengers, Wimbledon has a more relaxed approach to what it hopes spectators wear during the two weeks of matches at the All England Club in SW19. Yet, while there is a freedom to explore and no set textbook, Wimbledon certainly has a look none the less.
You could say that dressing for Wimbledon is English fashion at its most quintessential. During The Championships, there's a shared approach from the congregation to choose pieces that are polite, demure and with a sporting angle, be it a Ralph Lauren polo shirt or a pleated skirt that mirrors what is worn in play.
For the big-name celebrities in attendance thus far, the 2025 championships have proven no different as a slurry of A-list names have put on their prettiest, preppiest outfits to take in Centre Court. Olivias Rodrigo and Dean have been amongst the standout sartorial champions, both donning sweet summer dresses. By contrast, Cate Blanchett chose an Armani suit to sit in the Royal Box. All eyes were on Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro when they made their official public debut on the middle weekend, both wearing top-to-toe Centre Court-ready coordinating all-white Ralph Lauren looks. Sienna Miller chose to wear an Alessandra Rich minidress to ace summer style and sit pretty in the Royal Box.
On day 12 of the championships - mens semi-finals day - Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter arrived hand-in-hand wearing matching Prada looks. The actor also took the moment to debut a brand new mullet cut hairstyle.
Of course, there's one person who does Wimbledon dressing best: the Princess of Wales. For her much-anticipated appearance at the women's singles final, Catherine chose to wear Self-Portrait and followed up on Sunday in custom vibrant blue Roksanda.
