August Brooksbank - son of Princess Eugenie- made his very first royal appearance this past weekend.

Queen Elizabeth's great-grandson, made his royal debut alongside parents Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in London on June 6. Dressed in an on theme blue sweater with a Union Jack motif, the tiny royal could be seen happily bouncing on his mother's knee during the celebratory procession of musicians, dancers, acrobats and carnival floats passing by the royal box outside Buckingham Palace.

Eugenie and Jack welcomed their first child in February 2021. He is the ninth great-grandchild of the Queen and Prince Philip, and the first grandchild of Eugenie's parents. Although Princess Eugenie has shared a number of photos of August on Instagram, until this appearance the royal has been careful not to show her son's face.

On June 2, August enjoyed his first Trooping the Colour, watching the flypast by the Royal Air Force from the arms of his father, Jack. Princess Eugenie shared photos on her personal Instagram page of the family of three looking out into the sky over London as the Royal Air Force performed a flypast.

Ahead of this year's event, Queen Elizabeth announced that only working members of the royal family would appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the flypast. Previously, extended family members, including Princess Eugenie, would gather on the balcony to watch the spectacle.
